SINDALL, Robert Glenn - passed away peacefully at home on Sunday July 10, 2022, in his 93rd year. A proud Hamiltonian Glenn was born, raised and spent most of his life in Hamilton. Glenn is predeceased by his beloved wife of 57 years Marion Elizabeth (Tolton) and his youngest son David. Much loved father to daughter Cheryl and son Wayne. Glenn is also predeceased by his brothers Albert (Joe), John, and William and sister Barbara (Walker) of British Columbia. He is survived by his brother George, sister-in-law Audrey (Tolton) and many nieces and nephews. After serving in the Royal Canadian Navy Glenn returned to Hamilton to work at Stelco Hilton Works where he was a crane operator for 38 years until his retirement in 1988. Glenn was a long time member of Chedoke Presbyterian Church and the Royal Canadian Legion. He enjoyed sailing, and woodworking. In his later years Glenn enjoyed model shipbuilding. Always willing to lend a hand, Glenn will be remembered for his strength, honesty and integrity. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. Cremation has already taken place. A visitation starting at 11:45 am followed by a service of remembrance at 12:30 will be held at Chedoke Presbyterian Church (Mohawk Road West and Magnolia, Hamilton) on Sunday July 24th. A private family interment at Woodland Cemetery will be held at a later date. Special thanks to all the wonderful Hamilton health care workers who provided care and support during Dad's illness.
