HARRIS, Albert John, AB, VR4506, RNCVR, MPK - 12 Dec 1916, HMCS GRILSE - Age 39, son of William Henry and Thurza Harris, of Shebbear, North Devon England. Husband of Mary A. Manby (formerly Harris), of Tullysleva, Ballina, Ireland.
AB Harris was lost at sea when, along with 5 other men, he was swept overboard off HMCS Grilse in a storm off Nova Scotia.
