Born: 17 Mar 1926, Drumheller, Alberta

 

Died: 24 Feb 1995, Victoria, British Columbia

 

LESOWAY, Peter - passed away at his home on February 24, 1995. Born in Drumheller, Alberta, March 17, 1926. Peter is survived by his loving sons, Richard and Douglas, both from Victoria, an a number of cousins in Southern Ontario. He was predeceased by his son Ronald in 1979. Peter retired as a Chief Petty Officer in the Royal Canadian Navy after serving 25 years. In subsequent years he was with the B.C. Liquor board. He was a lifetime member of the Chief Petty Officers Mess and was an active member of the Chief Petty Officers' Association being responsible for the sick visiting committee for a number of years. He was an active member of the Cedar Hill Golf Course. Peter will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends. A funeral service will be held at St. Patrick's Church on Haultain Street at10:30 a.m. with Monsignor Hanley Celebrant. Donations may be made to the Victoria Hospice Society, 1990 Fort Street, V8R 1J8, or the Canadian Diabetes Association, 930 Pandoara Avenue, V8V 3P3
