In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
OICKLE, Earl Edward - 75, Bridgewater, died February 18, 2000, in the Veterans' Unit, Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born at Mahone Bay, he was a son of the late Jason and Ellnora (Oickle) Oickle. He was a veteran of the Second World War serving in the Merchant Marine. Surviving are sisters, Grace Murphy, Hubbards; Jean Robar, Bridgewter; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by wife, Emmy; sisters, Arline, Violet, Dorothy, Marie, Ruth, Pearl, a sister in infancy; brothers, Maurice, Wilfred. Visitation 2-4 p.m. Tuesday in Sweeny's Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Cremation to follow. Graveside service 11 a.m. Friday in Maple Grove Cemetery, West Northfield, Rev. Willis Ott officiating.
