EBY, Robert W. - Passed away on October 11, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by his family at the age of 80. Loving partner of Gloria Schuiling. Beloved Dad of Charlene (William), Julia (the late Rick), Wendy (John), Heather (Kevin), Peter (Val), William (Karen) and Krystal. Cherished Grandpa of: Asher, Darcy, Jamie, Tiffani, Joshua, Bryan, Karra, Meghan, Kaitlyn, Brandon, Amanda, Justin and Zoe. Loving Great-Grandpa of: Kyla, Dillon, Jade, Domonic, Logan, Brynn, Jessey and Izabella. Bob was in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1960-1970 with his final rank being LSRM. Bob worked at Sun Life as a Certified Property Manager from 1976-1986. He was the President of the Kitchener-Waterloo Apartment Association and of the Property Management Association. He taught property management in various colleges throughout Southwestern Ontario. He collected pop tabs for the legion and cans for the Shriners for years. Bob was an avid rangers fan and attended every game. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family for a celebration of life from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Refreshments provided. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Working Center- St. John's Soup Kitchen or the Salvation Army Community and Family Services would be appreciated by the family.
