In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
TILLEY, Joseph Andrew - Was born 29 November 1963, in Halifax, N.S., to parents John and Nora with siblings, Elizabeth (Larry), Michael, Chris and Stephen (Barb). He served 21 years in the Royal Canadian Navy before becoming the captain of an international pirate-themed tall ship. He ended his career as a marine pilot at Queen’s Harbour Master. He was a loving husband to Liana and father to Ryan, Megan, Kristiana (Max) and his red-headed stepchild Kolton (Julia). He was known for his sense of humour, generosity, and adventurous spirit. He will be dearly missed. A celebration of life will be held in Fleet Diving Unit Atlantic (C.F.B. Shearwater) on Sunday November 20th. Doors open at 12 p.m., and the ceremony begins at 1 p.m. (The Saltwire Network 16 Nov 2022)
