Memorial service will be held in First United Church Sunday for ABAW1 Peter Lancelot Ferguson who was lost at sea Nov. 24 while serving aboard HMCS Micmac off the coast of Cape Race, Newfoundland. The mishap occurred during a gale.

Able Seaman Ferguson, youngest son of Mr. And Mrs. George Ferguson, was born here and educated at Francis street school and the Vocational Institute. He joined HMCS Griffon in February of 1954 moving to HMCS Cornwallis for basic training.
