MALONE, Thomas de la Hunt, AB ST, V48090, RCNVR, killed - 08 Aug 1944, HMCS REGINA - Son of Thomas De La Hunt Malone and Antoinette Saucier Malone, of Three Rivers. Province of Quebec, Canada.

 

AB Malone died when HMCS REGINA was torpedoed and sunk off Trevose Head, Cornwall, England by U-667 while she was aiding a merchant vessel in distress. Thirty of her crew were lost. The body of AB Malone washed ashore at Bude, England on 13 Aug 1944.  AB Malone was buried in the St. Neot Churchyard, Poundstock, Cornwall, England on 15 Aug 1944.
