Born: 21 Jul 1934, North Battleford, Saskatchewan

 

Died: 19 Nov 2003, Victoria, British Columbia

 

PARSONS Robert Kenneth (Bob) - Passed away peacefully on November 19, 2003 at Victoria Hospice. Bob was born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, July 21, 1934. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Joyce, son Brent, daughters; Wendy and Jennifer, grandson Kenny, granddaughters; Sarah, Jessa, and Brittany brothers; Jim (Delores) and Harvey (Jayne) and his sister Kay Hansen. Predeceased by his brother Herb (Smokey) (Lorley). Bob was a member of the Canadian Navy for 30 years. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported the family through this difficult time; especially John and Saundra Jackson. Special thanks to the 'Angels' at the Victoria Hospice for all their lovingcare. A celebration honouring Bob will be held at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4725 Falaise Drive on Tuesday, November 25 at 2:00pm 'We gave the order' (The Victoria Times Colonist 21 Nov 2003)

 

The four Parsons brothers all served in the Canadian Military:  Harvey Parsons (Navy), Herbert Douglas Parsons (Army), James (Jim) Parsons (Army / Navy) and Robert Kenneth Parsons ( Navy)
