Dubois Albert 1925 - 2007 Le 11 août 2007, à l'âge de 81 ans est décédé Monsieur Albert Dubois laissant dans le deuil ses enfants ainsi que parents et amis. Une liturgie de la parole sera célébrée le le mercredi 22 août à 10h en la Chapelle de la Maison Darche et de là au columbarium du cimetière Last Post. Albert Dubois joined the RCNVR at the age of 17. His father, who had served in the First World War, signed the papers so he could join. In his later years, when asked why he joined the Navy, he said he didn't like running and figured there would not be that much on a ship.  Also, all his friends joined and he wanted to hunt German submarines. He served in 2 ships as a seaman gunner. After the war he joined the RCAF as a photographer.

 

He passed away in the veteran's hospital in Saint-Anne de Bellevue, Quebec.
