DALEY, John Joseph, Leading Seaman, 53342A, C.A.F. (Navy), CANADIAN FORCES FLEET SCHOOL ESQUIMALT / CFB ESQUIMALT - Son of Joseph McNamara of Eganville, Ontario. Brother of Henry Daley of Deep River, Ontario. Husband of Margaret Etta Daley and father of Jeffery Daley of Victoria, British Columbia.

 

LS Daley was electrocuted while working on a deep fat fryer in the galley of Nelles Block, Naden, CFB ESQUIMALT. His body was found when a co-worker went to remind him that it was stand-easy and found him dead.  He was buried at sea.
