YULE, Douglas Charles - passed away 01 February 2003 in White Rock after a brief battle with cancer. Survived by Helen, his caring wife of 57+ years, daughter Brenda Yule Brice, son John (Shirley), loving grandchildren Trevor, Riley, Lianna and their father John Brice. Born 26 October 1919 in Saskatoon, Doug spent his youth in Edmonton, served in the Royal Canadian Navy 1939-45, and spent many years in the automotive supply industry in the Lower Mainland. Doug and Helen lived in Richmond for many years before moving to White Rock. Doug was a great sports fan, a curler, and an avid fisherman. He will be greatly missed by family and his many friends including neighbours, Tony and Bea, his horseshoe buddies, and members of the Navy Chiefs and P.O.s Assn.
