PARFITT, Wallace Robert (Bob) - Bob Parfitt, also known as Wallace Robert Parfitt, was born on February 13, 1929, in Keewatin, Ontario, to his parents Arthur and Mary Anne. On April 22, 2023, he passed away, leaving behind his devoted wife of 70 years, Yvette, as well as his extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and four siblings. Bob met Yvette Berard, the love of his life, during the Winnipeg Red River Flood in 1950 while serving in the Canadian Navy. After tying the knot in 1953, the couple moved to California, where they began their life together. They later relocated to Victoria, British Columbia, where they established a thriving tiling business. Throughout his life, Bob remained dedicated to his wife and soulmate, Yvette. Together, they enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including wine-making, vegetable gardening, and traveling. Bob's character was marked by his kindness, love, humility, and sense of humor. His legacy will endure through the countless lives he touched and the memories he created. Although his absence will be felt, his spirit will always be with us.
