STEVENS, Leslie Earl - With great sadness we say good bye to our dear husband, father and grandfather, Les Stevens.

Les was born in Montreal but lived most of his life in BC. As a young man he joined the Navy and spent 26 years of his life serving his county and seeing many different parts of the world. After retiring from the Navy Les moved his young family from Victoria to Chilliwack to take a position a the Chilliwack General Hospital as the director of plant and Maintenance, a job he had for over 20 years. He loved his work and enjoyed the many friendships he made there.

Les is remembered by his wife of 49 years Florence, son Kelvin; daughters, Carolyn, Lesley (Ian) and Tracy (Gord); grandchildren, Karen (Keith), Jennifer, Ethan, Riley, Delaney, Ty, Zach and Alexis.

Our family would like to thank everyone at the Bradley Centre for their care and compassion they showed him and our family.

Les requested no service but please have a happy thought and a smile in his memory.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Bradley Centre.

Our father was a special man and we will miss him. (The Victoria News 12 Feb 2011)
