Died: 07 May 2023

 

GREER, Ralph Cameron - left this good world in his 92nd year. Ralph leaves behind his loving wife and partner of 70 years, Denise Huguette (nee Rochette), his daughter Susan Ratte (Art) of Vernon BC, and his son George (Karen) of Surrey BC, along with 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Ralph was predeceased by his parents Allan and Agnes (nee Cameron) Greer, and by his sister Enid Doran and his younger brother Ivan. He also leaves behind his 3 brothers Ron, Victor, and Jack, all currently living in Ontario.

 

Ralph was born in Lanark County, Ontario in 1931, and lived an interesting and fruitful life, from diamond drilling in western Canada, to his time served in the Royal Canadian Navy, his 10 years working in Noranda, QC, and his final 30 years of work in the mining industry at the Kidd Creek metsite in Timmins, ON. Ralph and Huguette initially retired in Renfrew, Ontario, and then moved to Salmon Arm, BC in 2008.

 

Ralph will be remembered as a passionate leader with great people skills, and 100% a family man. In addition to his work, he thoroughly enjoyed his family, baseball, hockey, and cars.
