GOYETCHE, Kenneth James (Kenny) - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth James Goyetche, age 74 in Melville Lodge on September 27th, 2019.
Born in Halifax, NS, he was a son of the late Frederick Goyetche and Estelle (Fishaire) Goyetche. Kenny was employed at D. N. D. for 33 years and in his off-time loved making homemade wine, as well as spending time with his family.
He was the loving husband of Barb (Spidle) for 51 years, and will be missed by his daughter, Daphne Devin (Carl) of Ottawa; son-in-law, Mario Janson of Montreal; sisters, Donna, Marilyn; brother, Paul; grandchildren, Natasha “Tash”, Jolin, Nickolas, Matthew, Christopher; many nieces and nephews.
Besides both parents, Kenny was predeceased by his daughter, Debra Lynn Janson and his brother, Ron.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Atlantic Funeral Homes.
A private family Graveside Service will be held in Oakridge Memorial Gardens on Saturday October 5th at 1078 Old Sackville Road, Middle Sackville. A Celebration of Kenny’s Life will be held Saturday October 5th at 229 Drysdale Road, Halifax starting at 1:00 PM.
Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
