In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
STEWART, Charles Robert (Chuck) - Of St. Thomas, passed peacefully on Monday, April 17, 2023 at the age of 64. Beloved son of Robert and Barbara (Ward) Stewart. Husband of the late Laurie Lynn (Haight) Stewart. Dearly loved father of Michael, Gregory and Vickie (Joshua) and grandfather of Jack. Dear brother of Kirk Stewart, Kim Reid, the late Debbie Stewart and the late Chris Stewart. Lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Chuck was born in St. Thomas on December 11, 1958. He proudly served with the Canadian Navy for 25 years, and was a 2nd Class Petty Officer. Chuck also worked as a taxi driver in his later years.
A celebration of Chuck's life will be held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, St. Thomas on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to the Legion Poppy Fund.
