BELLIVEAU, Raymond Joseph (Ray) - 73, Meteghan, Digby Co., formerly of Saulnierville, died July 16, 1998, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Little Brook, he was a son of the late Adolphe and Cedulie (Dugas) Belliveau. He was a chef most of his life, having worked on gypsum boats, CN trains and in various restaurants. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Naval Reserve. Surviving are daughter, Jocelyn (Mrs. Douglas Smith), Saulnierville Station; brother, Louis Belliveau, Bridgewater; two grandchildren. He was predeceased by son, Richard; brothers, Emile, Leo, Charles. Funeral 9 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Saulnierville, Rev. Paul LeBlanc officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Donations to Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church or The Lung Association. Arrangements entrusted to Meteghan Funeral Home.
