MACKENZIE, Alexander, AB, V19875, RCNVR, MPK - 29 Apr 1944, HMCS ATHABASKAN - Son of James and Rachel MacKenzie, of Riverside, Ontario.

 

AB MacKenzie died when his ship, HMCS ATHABASKAN, was torpedoed and sunk in the English Channel.

 

Alexander's brother, John MacKenzie, also served in the Navy during the Second World War.
