MCCARROLL, Thomas George, Sto 1c, V39522, RCNVR, MPK - 29 Apr 1944, HMCS ATHABASKAN - Son of Rose McCarroll, of Hamilton, Ontario.

 

Stoker McCarroll died when his ship, HMCS ATHABASKAN, was torpedoed and sunk in the English Channel.

 

Thomas' brother, James McCarroll, also served in the RCNVR during the Second World War.
