Leading Stoker, RCNVR

 

Born: 30 Jun 1923, Nanaimo, British Columbia

 

Died: 17 Apr 2010, Nanaimo, British Columbia

 

Thomas' brother, Charles McCallum (Chuck) Forrester, also served in the RCNVR during the Second World War and the RCN, post-war.

 

 

Citation for award of the Distinguished Service Medal:

 

FORRESTER, Thomas Houston, Leading Stoker, V50539, Distinguished Service Medal, RCNVR - Awarded as per London Gazette of 20 June 1944 (no Canada Gazette).
