Died: 24 Dec 2023, Lawrencetown, Annapolis Co., Nova Scotia

 

CAMPBELL, Kenneth William (Ken) - age 56 of Lawrencetown, Annapolis Co., NS formerly of Sarnia, ON passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at home. Born in Camlachie, Ontario, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Mona (Jaques) Campbell. Ken retired after 22 years of service with Royal Canadian Navy as a cook obtaining the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 98, Kingston and Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 34, New Glasgow. Ken was an avid John Deere collector, dog lover and enjoyed playing darts, cards and bingo. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Barbara (Reddick) Campbell; daughter, Kendra Connolly, Wainwright, Alberta; sons, Michael Reddick, Pembroke, Ontario and Patrick Reddick (Tammy Poil), Lawrencetown; sisters, Norma (Wayne) Gilroy; Nancy (Bob) Hicks and Lisa (Todd) Gibbs, all of Sarnia, Ontario; grandchildren, Michaela, Dakoda, Rune and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his granddaughter, Trinity. In keeping with Ken’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Legion Tribute will be held 2:00PM Friday, January 12, 2024, in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, 1-855-825-3448. A reception for family and friends will follow the service in the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 98, 1472 Veterans Lane, Kingston. All are welcome.
