In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
FOX, James (Joe) - It is with heavy hearts that we, the family of James Fox (Joe), announce his passing on December 11, 2014, after a short but bravely fought battle with cancer. Born on March 18, 1964, he was the son of the late Brian and Mary Fox (Gallant). Joe proudly served his country in the Royal Canadian Navy for 25 years. He was well-liked and respected on base and at sea. Joe had an enormous heart that he openly shared with family and friends. He had a passion for photography, often volunteering his time to take photos of minor league sports teams, particularly those of his young cousins'. He loved to travel, whether to places in Canada, or sunny destinations. He especially loved taking cruises with family. Joe will be sadly missed by his sisters, Kim (Al), Tanya (Steve); nieces, Courtney, Kellie, Traci; nephew, Travis; beloved cousins, Pat and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Cremation has taken place. At Joe's request, a small family "Celebration of his life" will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's name to Canadian Cancer Society are welcome. Special thank you to all the nurses of Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Prince Edward Island, for their care and compassion during his toughest moments.
