In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
OKE, Robert Charles (Bob) - of Delta, passed away January 21, 1991, at the age of 49 years. He is survived by his loving family, wife, Vonnie; 1 son, Jason (Melody) of Coquitlam; 3 stepsons, Ron (Debbie) Hastie of Delta, Dan (Kari) Hastie of Surrey, Jerry (Eva) Hastie of Surrey; 1 daughter, Kelly (Randy) Mains of Coquitlam; 1 stepdaughter, Vicki Hastie of Surrey; 5 grandsons and 5 granddaughters. He is also survived by his mother, Mildred Oke, of New Westminster; 2 brothers, Hank (Jeanette) of Comox, Ken (Eileen) of Victoria; aunts, nieces, nephews and many friends. Bob was predeceased in 1979 by his father, Alan. Bob served for 13 years in the Royal Canadian Navy. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Valley View Funeral Home, 14660-72nd Ave., Surrey. Cremation. No flowers by request. (Valley View Funeral Home)
