HEALY, Marguerite L. (Mickie) (née HANSON) - Peacefully on December 29, 2002 of COPD, age 80, surrounded by a loving and grateful family at the Ottawa Hospital. Beloved wife of 58 years to Frank "Hank" Healy Lt, RCNVR. Sister of Ruth and Joy of Victoria. Predeceaesd by sister Freda, brothers John and Norman, mother Ragna and father Harold. Loving mother to Francie (Tom Roberts) of Westport, Mike (Sonia) of Markham, Chris (Sandra), Joe of Fort McMurray, Mary Margaret (Ross Cruickshank) of Osgoode and Frank Jr. Loving Grandma of Simon, Adam, Ashley and Caleb (Francie), Chris and Sarah (Mike), John, Ben and Alex (Chris), Carolyn, Joe and Mike (Mary Margaret). Proud Great Grandma of Libby (Simon/Lori), Dylan (Ashley/Johnathon), and Michael (Ben/Chloe). Accomplished classical musician and pianist. Literate and voracious reader. Kitsch collector extraordinaire. Witty, gracious and charming correspondent to many friends. Mickie proudly served her country as a Leading Canadian WREN in World War II, based in London during the blitz. There is no funeral home visitation. Her life will be celebrated in a private remembrance for family and friends at the home of Chris and Sandra (729-3103 for details). Arrangements through Hulse, Playfair and McGarry.
