Died: 30 Dec 1992, Pomona, Rockland Co., New York, USA

 

OXNER, Kerry Arthur - 70, New York, N.Y., formerly of Lilydale, Lunenburg County, died December 29, 1992, in New York. Born in Mahone Bay, he was a son of the late Arthur and Margaret (Joudrey) Oxner. In his earlier years, he worked as a blacksmith with Lunenburg Foundry and Engineering. He later moved to New York, where he worked as a machinist with Columbia University. He served with the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War. He is survived by his wife, Martha; son, Wayne, Lilydale; daughter, Margaret, Montreal; stepsister, Mrs. Lorna Hirtle, Bridgewater; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Edward; stepbrother, Lavenis. Funeral and burial were held January 2, in New York.
