COPP, Garnet Clayton, Sto 2c, V30945, RCNVR, MPK - 18 Dec 1942, HMS PARTRIDGE - Son of Mr. and Mrs. Rupert Stillman Copp, of McAdam, New Brunswick
Stoker Copp died when his ship, HMS PARTRIDGE, was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U-565 when on anti-submarine patrol 50 miles west of Oran. Of her crew there were 173 survivors and 37 killed.
