TAYLOR, Robert G. - It is with great love and sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Bob. Bob was predeceased by his first wife Jean and daughter Rhonda. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy, son Jon (Melanie), stepsons Steve (Julie), Dan (Tina) and four grandchildren, Hayden, Graham, Emily (Nic) and Joshua.

Bob was retired from the Canadian Navy after 35+ years as a pay writer.

Besides his family, Bob's other love was Gordie Howe and the Detroit Red Wings. All who knew Bob heard the same story over and over again about how he met Gordie...thank you for your patience!!

Dementia robbed Bob of so much, but it could never take away his sense of humor. Special thanks to all the wonderful staff at Broadmead Lodge, especially B1 and the Veterans Health Centre Day program. You all went above and beyond to take care of Bob.

Celebration of Life will be held September 12th at 10:00 am at McCall's Royal Oak, 4665 Falaise Dr. (The Victoria Times Colonist 06 Sep 2025)
