MUIR, Dave Allan (Boomer) - Unexpectedly after a brief illness, Dave passed on June 19, 2025 at 70 years of age. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Shirley. Dear brother of Lori Muir and Heather Kozolanka and her husband John. Cherished uncle of Alex & Melissa Kozolanka, Kylie Kozolanka & Andy Selman, Keegan Kozolanka & Taylor Pipe, and great-uncle of Cecelia Kozolanka, Hazel Selman and Ben Hallyburton. Survived by his aunts and uncles Margaret McCuaig, Mavis & Alan Mills, and Judy Lachine.
Dave proudly served 20 years in the Canadian Navy as a Petty Officer Second Class, stationed in Esquimalt, BC, where he made lifelong friends. He will be deeply missed by many family members, those he served with in the Navy, his friends from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 644, and his dear friend Judy.
He will be fondly remembered for his love of the rock band Motorhead, and his favourite drink Dr. Pepper.
