Walter Leroy Millington, the son of William Arthur Millington and Sybil Frances Backus, was born at Victoria, BC on 30 or 31 Jul 1899. Enlisted in the 103rd Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force at Victoria on 30 May 1916; then discharged as a minor, 6 July 1916. Millington married Annie McLeod at Victoria on 15 January 1934. Enlisted in the RCNR 27 Feb 1940.  Enlisted in the RCN(R) 28 Aug 1945.  Honourably Released 30 Jun 1954.

 

Awards and Decorations:  1939-45 Star, Atlantic Star, CVSM & Clasp, War Medal 1939-45, LS&GC RCN(R) Note: Only 19 RCN(R) Long Service and Good Conduct medals were issued.
