In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
LESPERANCE, Thomas A. - Peacefully with his family by his side, Dad passed away at the age of 75. He leaves behind to mourn him his children Ken, Lynne (Ken) Bob, Cathleen (Peter); grandchildren Bill, Dylan, Lee, Deanna, Ryan, Cory, Fallon and special friend Jacqueline. Dad was also great-grandpa to Evan and McKenzie, friend and mentor to Marc, Noel and Michel. He is survived by his siblings Harold, Yvonne, Doreen and Lorraine. He was predeceased by his parents, his eldest son Tom and siblings Ella, Bill, Bud, Elaine, Vickie, Lee and wife Marie Anne. Dad was born in Giroux, MB. After serving in the navy Dad lived out his life in Winnipeg and close to his roots in the Giroux area. He worked as a milkman and several other occupations before fulfilling his dream of working for himself when he set up his own window company. Dad loved the outdoors and working with his hands. He loved to play the guitar, harmonica, skiing, skidooing, road trips, and meeting with special friends at Sals. He will be sadly missed. Cremation has taken place upon his request. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East at Navin Rd. 222-3241. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
