HOWES, Douglas Sidney - Peacefully at home with his family at his side, Tuesday, August 27, 2002. Douglas Sidney Howes, age 79. He is survived by his wife Shirley (Hambleton), daughter Rosanne, Ottawa, son Norman, London, Ontario, sister Pat White, Belleville, nieces Heather Walther, Mt. Albert, Jean Ossowski, Farham, Quebec, and nephew Doug Duiven, Calgary. Doug served with the Royal Canadian Navy for 25 years and with the RCMP Forensic Lab for 20 years. Cremation. A Service in Memory of Doug will be held at Emmanuel United Church, 691 Smyth Road, Friday at 1 p.m. All welcome. Reception at the Church following the Service. Interment Beechwood Cemetery. In Memoriam donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Palliative Care Outreach Program appreciated. (Legacy Remembers 28 Aug 2002)
