JACKSON, James Brian - Brian passed away on Friday, January 11th at the spry age of 76. Brian was born in Truro, Nova Scotia on September 10th, 1941 to Ida Mercer. Never one to stay idle, he packed up and joined the Canadian Navy at the age of eighteen. After leaving the Navy and working in the U.S. for a number of years he decided to move to London, Ontario with his wife and two children. He worked at General Motors Diesel Division for over 25 years. Brian was always searching for a new hobby to try out. Of the many things he did over the years, he was most successful as a rally car co-driver, winning several Ontario Championships for Competition Toyota. Also over the years he collected and maintained a wide array of cacti and succulents; raised guinea pigs; was a train hobbyist; avid cyclist; cross-country skier; and a do-it-yourself builder. Amongst his family and friends, he will be remembered for his charm, confidence, strength, razor-sharp wit and the uncanny timing of his humorous comebacks. Brian is survived by his two loving children, Kurt and Aaron; his loving daughter-in-law Gina; and his loving wife Lourdes. Friends and acquaintances are invited to join the family at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1997 Dundas Street, E. (at Wavell) on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 12:00 - 1:00pm where a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Facial Pain Association.  "Always remember, I love you, no matter what." - Brian Jackson  (Arbor Memorial)
