Born in Rocky Bay, Richmond Co., he was a son of the late Charles and Blanch (Keating) Doyle. Surviving are his wife, the former Christine Clark; daughters, Iris (Mrs. Richard Terfry), Mount Uniacke; Paula (Mrs. Larry Connors), Monica (Mrs. George Henley), both of Halifax; stepdaughters, Jean (Mrs. Paul Samson), Cap La Ronde; Mary Clark, at home; sons, Henry and wife Nancy, D'Escousse; Robert and wife Betty, Mount Uniacke; David and wife Faye, Poulomon; Michael and wife Ellen, Sackville; stepsons, Charlie Clark and wife Lorette, D'Escousse; Jimmy Clark and wife Sheila, Samsonville; sister, Mary C. (Norellen) James and companion Ernest Landry; 17 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Jennie Tavenor; brothers, Rosco, Lester, Leonard, Joseph in infancy. Funeral mass will be held today in St. Hyacinth Parish Church, D'Escousse, Rev. John J. MacDonald officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Hyacinth Parish Cemetery fund.
