DeWOLFE, Philip James - Passed away peacefully at the Camp Hill Veterans Hospital on April 21st 2026 at the age of 90, surrounded by his family. Born on November 9th,1935 in Rockport Ontario to Harold and Edna DeWolfe. Philip was predeceased by his eldest son Paul, his brother Gerald and his mother and father. Philip was a loving and devoted husband , father, grandfather , great grandfather , uncle and brother. Philip joined the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) at the age of 17 and retired after 27 years. Philip was an avid reader, loved his long walks each day, enjoyed his daily trip to Tim Hortons or The Second cup for his coffee and good conversations with his children and anyone else that happened to be sitting close by. Philip enjoyed watching the car races and a good hockey game. Philip was always ready and willing to help anyone whether he knew them or not. Philip is survived by his loving wife, Christina, his children, David DeWolfe (Kimberley), Philip DeWolfe (Lorrie), Deborah Travers (Scott), Sharon DeWolfe, and Tim DeWolfe (Karen). Philip will also be dearly missed by his 10 grandchildren , 8 great grandchildren , brothers Mike, Richard, Frank and Ken, his sisters Marjorie , Doris, Esther , Betty and Peggy, all still living in Ontario. Interment and celebration of life will take place at a later date. (Harbourside Regional Crematorium)
