Died: 01 Jun 2026, Souris, Prince Edward Island, Canada

 

JOLIN, Robert J. (Bobby) - Peacefully at the Souris Hospital, on Monday, June 1, 2026, Robert J. Jolin passed away with his loving wife by his side. Born on April 2, 1946, he was aged 80 years or Souris, PE, and formerly Quebec City, Chilliwack and Victoria, BC.

 

He will be forever loved by his wife of 39 years, Betty (nee Burke), along with his daughter Deborah Koster, and stepsons Darren (Stacey), and Mark Moser (Samantha). Robert was a special grandfather to Megan and Joey Koster, Matthew Douglas, Aurora and Kenneth Moser, and great grandfather to Aliannah, Lian, and Samara. Predeceased by his parents Jean Paul and Mable Jolin and sister Lynn Jolin.

 

Robert spent 25 years in the Canadian Forces Navy Branch between the east and west coast of Canada. His job as a radar tech included all aspects of Naval communications. Later in life, after retirement, he worked for Corrections Services Canada Institution as a senior electronics technician.

 

By personal request, there will be no funeral services. A graveside service for family will take place at a later date in the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Souris. If so desired, donations in memory of Robert can be made to the PEI Humane Society, or the Eastern Kings Health Foundation (Souris Hospital). (Dingwell Funeral Home)
