In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
SWANNIE, Ron - passed away in Chilliwack, BC on September 10, 2003 at age 89 after a brief illness with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Peggy and son, Reginald of Chilliwack, BC. He was predeceased by his first wife, Marjorie in 1982 and his brother, Sam in 1983. Ron served in the RCNVR in WWII. He worked at the CPR Express until he retired in 1979. Ron was very active in the Beekeepers Assoc. and the honey business until he moved to Chilliwack in 1984. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Valley View Memorial Funeral Home in Surrey, BC. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. (The Saskatoon StarPhoenix 04 May 2012)
