In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
TESLUK, Bill - On July 25th 2011, Billy crossed over through heavens' gates with dignity and courage. He was a feisty, witty, sprout leaving his parents Michael and Anna and sister Margie to serve in the RCNVR in WWII as the ship signalman. It didn't take him long to know a good thing when he meet Audrey Patterson and married her before she could say no. They had four children, a son Rod and three daughters Gale, Holly and Debra. After 35 years at Saskpower and the kiddies were grown, Nanny and Papa retired in Kelowna, B.C. Blessed with more than 60 years of love and companionship Nanny crossed leaving Papa on his own. To his grandchildren and great grandchildren he was a die-hard Riders Fan who smelled of old spice, shaved the old fashioned way, always carried a comb in his front pocket and kept meticulous records. He loved his news paper, lemon meringue pie, a fridge full of chocolates and a good cup of coffee. There are no words to express our love for this principled man and our appreciation to the staff and volunteers at the Kelowna Hospice. We'll miss him dearly but take comfort that he is pain free and can enjoy picnics and sharing jokes with Nanny again. We love you Papa. xo In lieu of flowers you are invited to forward a donation to the Kelowna Hospice House 2035 Ethel Street, Kelowna B.C.
