ROGERSON, Loyde Walter - Born Loring, Ontario on February 4, 1922. Son of Archie and Mabel Rogerson (predeceased). Passed away February 25, 2016 at the Orillia Soldier's Memorial Hospital. Loving husband of Louanne. Cherished father of Darrell (Judyth) of Port Loring and Lynn (David) Bolton of Sudbury. Special grandfather to Wendee Rogerson (Todd Devonish), Lisa Rogerson (Tim Richardson), Derek Rogerson, Kara Bolton (Jason Haddow), Aaron Bolton (Wendy). Great Grandfather to Devon, Jace and Everett. Brother of Amy Gattie (predeceased), Roy Rogerson (predeceased) (Mildred), Pauline (Lloyd) Whittaker, Maxine (Lewis) Driver. Loyde served with the Royal Canadian Navy in World War 2. He owned and operated Rogerson's Camps, Rogerson's Lumber Company, Port Loring, Lindberg's Air Service, Cochrane and Frontier Air, Timmins. Loyde was a commercial pilot since 1947. After retirement, he and Louanne operated Graywall Farm and Equestrian Centre in Timmins. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes , 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595, for memorial visitation on Saturday March 5, 2016 from 3-5 P.M.
