In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
PIDCOCK, Paul Mortimer - The family announces with great sorrow his death on July 1st, 2015 at Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 99 years. Loving husband to Annamarie, beloved father to Skip, Steven, Barbara and Audrey and cherished grandfather to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born in Qu'Appell, Saskatchewan. Paul was a graduate of McGill University as a Mining Engineer. His career eventually led him to travel the world. A veteran of WW II, with the Navy, who seen action in the Mediterranean. Honourable discharge with Rank of Lieutenant Commander. An athlete all his life, he played for the Kirkland Lake Blue Devils in Timmins and turned down offers to play in the NHL. In his senior years he loved to play golf. He will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank Dr. Nick Kanya Forstner, his health team, Bayshore and the generosity of Veterans Affairs. At his request there will be No Vistation and No Funeral. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted with Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home (705) 268-4488.
