In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
LUXTON, Maitland - Peacefully Friday evening, August 18th, 2006 in his 81st year. Loving husband of the late Bernice (Bunny) Luxton July 99. Dear mother of Gail Pearce (Hugh) of Timmins, Carol Roy (Gerry) of Porcupine, Allen (Lea) of Porcupine and Neil (Wendy) of South Porcupine. Sadly missed by grandchildren Tracy (Greg) & Ryan (Jody) Naletto, Trista, Travis, Tyron & Trenton Luxton, Alisha, Kelsey Rose & Carlea Luxton, Abby Anderson and one great grandson Ryker Naleto. Mait was born in Iroquois Falls and had served overseas in the R.C.N. during the Last Great War and was a member of the R.C. Legion Branch 287 South Porcupine. He worked for Weston's Bakery for 5 years before opening Luxton's Cigar Store in Timmins, then purchasing Luxton's Newsstand South Porcupine in 1967. Remembrance donations in his memory will be graciously received through the funeral home to Spruce Hill Lodge. In keeping with Maitland's wishes there will be a private Memorial Service with interment of ashes beside his wife in Tisdale Cemetery.
