FORBISTER, Derek Scott - 77 passed away suddenly on May 15, 2026.

As a Radio Operator, he was tasked with training new Reserve recruits in the Communications trade. In later years, he volunteered as an officer with the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets. Derek worked as an Engineering Technologist in the construction industry before serving as a Commissionaire until his retirement. He was of Métis and Scottish heritage and enjoyed researching his ancestry.
