DICKINSON, Rodney Wayne (Rod) - Passed away at the St. Joseph's General Hospital in Elliot Lake on Tuesday July 1st, 2008 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Lillian Dickinson of Elliot Lake. Loving father of Rick Dickinson of Elliot Lake, Judy Burch (Rick) of Strathroy, Doug Dickinson (Lloyd) of Markham and grandfather of Justin, Grant, Jarod, Noah, Brandon, Sammi-Jo and Travis. Dear brother of Marianne Makoviczki (Joe) of Hamilton, Sandra Hamelin (Roger) of North Bay and Anita Boulanger (Claude) of Sudbury. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Visitation was held at the Elliot Lake Funeral Chapel & Cremation Centre (35 Ontario Ave.) on Wednesday July 2, 2008 from 2-9 p.m. Interment in Woodlands Cemetery, Elliot Lake. Memorial contributions to the Parkinson Society or the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
