TISSEMAN, William Frederick (Bill) - Passed away peacefully on July 30, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital at 86 years of age. Beloved husband of Diane. Father of four, grandfather of Billy and Jason and great grandfather of Penny & Jaelyn. Son of the late William and Vera Tisseman of Toronto. Brother of Larry of Elliot Lake and the late Dick and Jeanne. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law of Jackie Lamarche (Marcel) and Angie Tisseman (Art). Bill worked in Toronto as a Maintenance Supervisor of Ontario Housing. After retiring, he relocated to Elliot Lake where he was a active member of the Lions Club. He also sat on the Museum Board. He was an active stamp collector. He enjoyed playing Euchre with his friends. He also was a frequent caller at the Bingo in his building. His friends will remember him for his sense of humor and the teller of long jokes. One of Bill's joy was when he was chosen to be the parade Marshall. As a young man Bill was in the Canadian Navy. At his request, cremation has taken place with a private family service to follow. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to SAD the animal shelter. He will be missed by many.
