In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
GRANT, Gordon Weir - A good man is no longer with us. He was a wonderful, caring husband to Sylvia. A loving father/step-father to Carol, Kaye, Doug, Gary, Debbie, Sheila and Kris. Grandfather to Michael, Curtis, Jen, Kim, Josh, Emma, Willa, Thomas, Scott, Zachary and Erik. Great-grandfather to Kayla, Katherine, Aiden, Cam and Jack. Gord is survived by two brothers, Murray and Ian. He was predeceased by his brother Jim. Gord led a full and interesting life. He was in the Navy and then had 35 years working as a civilian with Department of National Defence. His passing will leave a hole in many lives but good memories will gradually fill that hole. As per Gord's wishes, cremation has taken place, no service. His ashes will be interred in the family plot in Glenwood Cemetery in Picton, ON. next summer.
