Arnold Emery Pace

Died: 19 Jul 1987, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

 

PACE, Arnold Emery - died Sunday in Victoria General Hospital. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Thomas and Anne (Boutilier) Pace. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War, was and retired from NAD after 28 years of service. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Cornwallis Branch #13. He was past master and a 50-year member of Acadia Lodge #14, as well as past district deputy grand master of the Grand Lodge of Nova Scotia. He was a member of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, the Philae Temple and the Royal Order of Scotland. He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Tucker. He was predeceased by three brothers, Clarence, Hartley and Everett. The body is in Snow's Funeral Home, Halifax, where the funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. George Ebsary officiating. A masonic service will be held 7:30 p.m. today in the funeral home, where visiting hours are 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Halifax.
