In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
LAMBERT, Tom Walter - Peacefully in his sleep, Tom Walter Lambert, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed on June 24, 2026. Known for his keen wit, his sense of humor, knowledge of many topics, and his love for all his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ann; his sons, Chris (Jennifer) and Travis (Susan), and grandchildren. Born the eldest of seven siblings in Port Colborne, he served in the Navy for many years before joining Air Canada for a long career in aviation. He then retired and enjoyed many adventures with his wife. He was famous for so many "Papa-isms," including, "Everybody has to put the time in the way they see fit." He was the epitome of this line, as he spent time between his many hobbies, his family, and his beloved wife. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The War Amps or a charity of your choice. The family would like to express their profound gratitude to the care team on the third floor of Welland Hospital for their attention and care of Tom. (The St. Catharines Standard 04 Jul 2026)
