In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
WOODS, Michael Alan (Mike) - was born in Kohat, India to Lt Douglas and Ruth Woods. Ruth and her three boys came to Canada in 1939. He joined the Navy and met the love of his life in 1958. They were married in 1959 in Duncan. After leaving the Navy he worked for BC Ferries for 35+yrs and retired at 65. He worked at Home Hardware in Sidney after retirement for 14yrs! He will be soo missed by his wife, Ellen, daughters Lisa, Kathy and Christine, Son in laws, John and David. Grandchildren, James, Brittany and Sara (Alex predeceased) and Great grandchild, Olivia. As well as several nieces and nephews, brother in laws and sister in laws. No service by request, but a small family gathering will take place at a later date.
