SCHENK, Peter - Peacefully went to be with his Lord and Saviour, at his home in Port Dover, on Monday, April 6, 2015 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Judy (nee Berendse) for 53 years. Loving father of Kristine (Karl Sloman), Kimberley (Ted Bullock) and Peter Kevin. Cherished Papa of Heather (Rich) and Hannah Bullock and Taylor and Olivia Rullo. Dear brother of Neil (Jeanette), John (Evelyn), Bill (Ida), Gerrit (Gwen), Irene (Ike Van Soelen), Anna (Martin Dykstra) and Margaret (Marinus Kikkert) and brother-in-law of Gary Berendse (Late Corrie), Dorothy Berendse, Janet Berendse, Ron Berensde (Jane) and Rick Berendse. He will be fondly remembered by John Rullo, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Peter was an engineer, retiring from Dofasco after 28 years of service. Visitation at Smith's Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), Burlington, 905-632-3333 on Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Burlington Christian Reformed Church, 3422 New Street, Burlington, on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment Burlington Memorial Gardens.
