CFAV FIREBRAND was based at HMC Dockyard in Esquimalt and provided fire protection to the navy's frigates, destroyers and submarines based on the West Coast. 

 

On 01 Apr 2025, CFAV FIREBRAND was removed from service and slated for disposal.
